And here it is. On my birthday, after the painstaking process of choosing a name, I register the MATCHBOYZ.COM domain. I believe that its playful name is understandable enough for all boys with the soul of a child who have been absorbed in the world of Matchbox cars.

The practical realization of my long-standing dream and desire to create a website about my hobby begins with the establishment of the domain. But it's not the first time. Already in the years 1999 - 2002, I ran my own website, where there were photos from my collection, simple categorization by type toy car or small e-shop. But that is history. The present seems much more ambitious. To create a website for all collectors, where they would find enough information from the world of Matchbox cars and have a reason to return regularly.

The basis of everything will be the catalog. An accurate catalog and quality photos, I would like to build on these two aspects. Catalog divided into several angles - by year, series, brand, type, color or theme. User catalog, i.e. accessible to all collectors, who want to simply register their collection. Or expand it, buy toy cars from other collectors through the market on the website.

Enough ideas, now there is a little thing left - to get to work.
