American Convertibles was originally intended to be an exclusive series for the Walmart, but it was later offered by retailers in other parts of the world. It includes six models, with the first being a new casting of the 1963 Chevy Corvette in silver. The next two cars, the 1975 Cadillac Eldorado and the 2016 Chevy Camaro, feature unique color variations. In 2024, the Camaro was also part of the Convoy Set, but there are visible differences between the versions.
The fourth model, the 1969 Camaro SS 396, has a design similar to the 2007 version, but it is an updated MB0302b casting, making it another unique variation or model. The remaining two cars, the 2018 Ford Mustang Convertible and the 1953 Buick Skylark are recurring models.
