The six sports cars, released under the Swop Tops series, are completely original and unique. None of the models have their own MAN number. The numbering FT001 to FT006 is based on the designation on the back of the black box. Four of the toy cars have similar bodies to models from the basic series (MB0172 Ferrari Testarossa, MB0204 Chevrolet Corvette, MB0219 Nissan 300ZX and MB0220 Mercedes-Benz 500 SL). The other two are completely unique.
In addition, the Porsche 968 and Ford Mustang were released later than the previous four cars and apparently under the weight of the fact that the Swop Tops series was not a big sales hit, so also in a much smaller print run. This makes both models hard to find and their price is high.
